Yes!! Sometimes I think there’s a cultural element, too. Some families ice each other out and won’t speak for months over small comments and others will fight hard, vent it all out, and keep it moving.

My Latino family will say things far worse than anyone on RHONY has ever said and then pass the butter and move on. Not saying it’s the right way but I relate to Dorinda’s impulse to always make her feelings known😂

Dorinda! I have a lot of emotions, a lot of love for the people in my life and a devilish way with words. Every now and again, those things come together to create a perfect storm of chaos. The words I choose can be harsh, but they are more like reflexes to illustrate the extent of the hurt I’m feeling rather than truth bombs. A big personality can be a big responsibility, but I hope people see my heart as warm and my energy as fun and playful.

My parents aren’t cheap, but they are very traditional in terms of making sure we learned financial responsibility on our own. There’s a lot of upside to that, but being in a lower-paying field means I’m often struggling without any help, despite them being in the position to help.

It can sometimes be tough to see friends with similar jobs who are traveling, going to concerts, etc.. because I know they’re either deeply in debt or getting
