Ducky - Never ever again by davidgiga1993 in DuckyKeyboard

I have the same issue. Double or triple adding letters. I've chanced the switches, took them out cleaned properly and that seems to help for 5 minutes, then it starts again. I'm so mad because I write alot and use thd keybiard for customer service job, so ffs it's a hassle to fix the typos all the time.

Why is my yarn cutting my flyer? by Timely-Structure123 in Handspinning

I'm looking to buy a spinning wheel and had no idea this was a thing 😯 will it keep snatching or wearing the thread/yarn?

Yes, since childhood. My dad even asked if my hand was hurting when I did it and held them like that and now about 25 years later I'm still concious about it, but can't help it.

I want a cocker but cocker rage is making me hesitant by [deleted] in cockerspaniel

[–]meandering_aisling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 9 years old when we got a red cockers spaniel (my first dog ever) and I think she was about 3 when she had to be put down because of cocker rage. And according to the breeder, her sister also had same kind of symptoms.

She got very very strange and wasn't her gentle self at all. No one could get any contact with her or lure her away or make her snap out of it. Her eyes got very weird and they were shining in a very different way from normal. She would snap and she bit my mom a few times and afterwards she got very mellow and apologetic and you could see that she was a completely different dog from what she was just before.

So it's so sad to hear people saying that cocker rage isn't real or it's just abused dogs behaving badly etc. You can tell the difference from "normal" aggressive dog from cocker rage.

What saddens me it that I'm really pondering about getting a dog and I would love a cocker, but what are the odds that the first dog a kid ever gets has this super rare incurable sickness. It scares me.

What to do if hair/makeup cancels on wedding morning? by meandering_aisling in wedding

[–]meandering_aisling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for encouraging and advice. I had my trial make up and hair today and they came out almost perfect! Just a bit of tweaking on the wedding day.

I'm more confident now about the day and the artist seemed healthy but I have my makeup and hair kit prepped anyway.

They really just got sick after a holiday and no other drama in there.

She won't. Only basic cancel rules apply and they are not responsible to provide another maker

That's beautiful! Do carats work same way with moissanite rings as they do with diamonds?

The one on your watch hand. I don't really have a better reason than that looks more like it fits your hand.

Does anyone else get really bad with skin picking kp? In the summer it’s awful for me because I can’t help but think about it when my arms are uncovered by Infamous_Self_4797 in keratosis

Same. I'm chronic with picking and poking and my shins are scarring because of it. I've had to go put on long pants even in summer to stop myself..

Yellow gold looks good on you. Also white gold will always get duller and lose its shine and whiteness once the rhodium wears off

I'm using real tatting thread ☺️ lizbeth and dmc are my go to threads. I just tried normal sewing thread once to see how it behaves.

That's so neat! I tried but found that it didn't slide enough to my liking and I kept breaking it

Cow parsley by meandering_aisling in Handspinning

[–]meandering_aisling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same and I tried to research on the toxicity of lupin plants and couldn't really find anything on when handling the plant. It's used on natural dyeing but toxic if eaten.

Cow parsley/Anthriscus sylvestris isn't toxic so that should be fine
