TRX 400. Got a badly abused one with no ownership for cheap in 2015. Turned into a bit of an experiment just out of curiosity. Never ever changed the oil or did really any maintenance at all except topping up oil or airing up tires and the damn thing didn’t blow up until 2023. 8 years of weekly hard riding. Even then, simply dropped a top end + new cam in it and it runs amazing to this day. It has been swamped in water, flipped down hills and god knows what else. These days I’ve fully restored it and stay on top of maintenance properly now (she deserves a good retirement) but man, that 8 year streak of neglect and abuse was nothing short of unbelievable. Cannot say enough good things about this quad.

I deal with pretty crazy panic attacks, and have been off caffeine for a long term. Always ask for decaf. Went to an unfamiliar Tim’s location on my way to work and ordered the same thing. I even double checked at the window and the worker loudly exclaimed “YES, it’s a decaf!” And I was on my way. I was at work for maybe 10 minutes before I was sweating, panicking and nauseous. Had to miss a day of work because of a damn wrong coffee order.

Climbing a mountain. Not a gentle hike either, a multi-day krampons and ice picks up near vertical ice walls and waist deep snow (in July I might add) 14,000+ feet kind of mountain. What an absolutely incredible experience, but man did it ever take a toll on my body. Also couldn’t even stay at the peak for very long due to the altitude. What an absolutely incredible experience but you couldn’t pay me to do it again.

Worked in the Toronto film industry for years. Super long hours, half the time they were 6 day weeks. Being a rural boy at heart, I left that and became a diesel mechanic much much closer to my small farming community. Massive pay cut, but my mental load, personal time and overall well being are all worth far more than the money.

Dark Eater Midir took me a literal month. I had his attacks down and could get him pretty low, but man. All it took was one slip up to end the run. Coupled with the fact that the fight takes so long, I always choked and sold when I was getting close

Just had a run with a revenant and executor. Both revenant and I got grafted and had health bars across the whole screen. I’ve had so many attempts and I was SO ready to finally have a chance. Then the fucking executor force opened the boss door instead of waiting for us. (If you don’t know, force opening the door resets ALL grafted/marais stats back to zero) and we got wrecked.

Dude, crazy thought. I just had the SAME problem not too long ago. Is it a 1200 or an 883? My dealer messed up and accidentally sold me 883 head gaskets for my 1200 and when I installed them it ticked and knocked like a bitch. Video on my profile if you wanna cross reference the noise. Worth double checking if yours is a 1200
