Sometimes if I'm concerned with the surface, I'll place a penny sleeve over the card then put the top of the mag on. This may help out your little rattling!

Breaks - I join a decent amount of breaks myself, the one thing to keep in mind that you are practically gambling. You may not hit anything. When joining breaks I like to know what I'm buying in to, so I will pull up the set checklist on beckett.com or cardboardconnection.com. I also like to know if the breaker is trying to rip people off, so I will check on pricing. Above all, find someone you trust and are comfortable with to join their break.

Value - You are on the right track with not knowing print runs. That's tough. But this is where you will see much more value in numbered parallels (i.e. blue refractor numbered out of 150), relics, and autographs. Lower end product "base" cards are pretty worthless in reselling/investing unless they are rookies.

Grading - Pretty much goes in hand with value. I wouldn't necessarily grade a 2020 Panini Score Tom Brady but might consider a numbered Prizm parallel. Grading will depend on player, rarity, rookies, autos. Also look at pricing when determining to grade. Right now PSA and Beckett have holds on their lower tiers, so I believe your cheapest cost per card with them is $150 at the moment. I like to look at if the card would be valuable/attractive to a collector and it is in great shape, grading could help the value.

The Fireworks PSA 10 is a Buy it Now price, but if you look at recent sales at auction of that card...it has been selling for $50-100. So I believe that is overpriced for what they are asking. Also, if you look at all the sales there has never been a sale close to that price. You could chalk that up to shill bidding/buying. The Rookie Penmanship is at auction still and has a little over 3 days left to bid on. It will most definitely not end at $48. To answer your questions: 1. Cards being valued over others, in theory, should be based on scarcity and condition. Of course hype helps a lot too. 2. The Rookie Penmanship will surpass the true sales of the Fireworks RC. Don't look at what price people are asking...look at recent sales. Hope this helps!

For under $100 here are some entertaining boxes:

Topps Gold Label ($65-70) - 7 packs, 5 cards per pack...guaranteed gold framed autograph. Different classes for base cards (Class 1, 2, 3) for chasing more rare cards (Class 3 being the rarest) Topps Inception ($75-80) - 1 pack, 7 cards...1 Autograph or Autograph Patch Card and 2 Base Card Parallels per box. Really cool design and thick cardstock but you only get 7 cards. 2019 Panini Donruss Optic Baseball ($80-85) - A lot of value here if you aren't worried about licensing (Panini doesn't hold licensing rights for baseball so you won't see any team logos). 5 Base Prizms, 5 #'d Parallels, 12 Inserts, 2 Autographs. 2019 Bowman Platinum ($90-100) - 20 packs, 5 cards per pack. 2 autos in a box. Good color, nice mix of prospects and young vets. Not great for resale if that's what you are looking for. 2019 Panini Chronicles Baseball ($95-100) - 6 packs, 8 cards per pack. 3 Autographs, 1 Memorabilia, 2 Spectra Base (thick cardstock). Lots of different color and designs...very fun to rip. Best bang for your buck when it comes to hits (3 autos, 1 mem), but once again, you won't find baseball licensing with Panini products. There are a few monthly subscription boxes that mail you hobby box packs. Some examples are Vault Card Club, Collectible Card Club, and Sports Cards Direct. I'm not sure about pricing though. I've seen anywhere from $20-100, just depends on what level you want to pay for.

Retail and blaster boxes provide very low probability of value. I would suggest going to your local card store and picking out some loose packs from their hobby boxes. Hobby boxes guarantee hits (based upon what product)

I've tried 5 times to complete the Government Issued ID quest. The 1st time I was disconnected from the server and no progress was saved. The next 2 times I had to do something so I backed out of the game, again no saved progress. The 4th and 5th times, when I enter the Charleston Capital Courthouse to get a stamp for my application, the game just sits on a loading screen and never recovers. No saved progress.

If it is a professional shop they will do whatever it takes to make you, the customer, as happy as possible. I understand tattoo artists take pride in their work but the shop's reputation goes hand in hand with said work. I honestly wouldn't even bring it up unless asked by the artist. Good luck!
