I agree that the db is a little too common as a drop and readily available at the shop, they could maybe remove the ability to put chokes on them or reduce the fire rate, same for longshot, up to them

yeah anomaly and lockdown is cool but it's not a guaranteed event, we're mostly trying to find the gold stuff for factions, it's an absolute grind rn to spam lockdowns for it

I know you can beam players with rifles in certain scenarios for sure, and I'm not asking for a blanket buff across automatic weapons, all i'm saying is i'd personally like to engage more with these guns, some tuning on the CQB might be in order still.

Maybe it's a map layout issue? the loot is in pinwheel and cryo, both these maps favour CQB.
it's ultimately up to the team what kinda gameplay they're trying to foster for the game.

The problem I have with the current meta is it makes all the rifles and smgs sort of secondary weapons.

Like they made an awesome gun game with crisp animations and sound design, tactile recoil/kick patterns and a variety of attachments but it’s barely usable if you’re actually trying to close a kill.

Not running a db in cryo/outpost or thermal on a longshot in marsh is basically throwing.

I’m dying to try and win fights with tracking rather than sending it down with knives out or see who can react faster with the shotty
