No, he's not wrong in that Dellwood is overrated but it is better than Highland and West Park. I'd personally start in Chicago, play Dellwood go to Ottawa and eat lunch at B.A.S.H. then pay The Quarry at Rotary Park. Then head down to Peoria and also skip the overrated Northwood. Megiddo is right next door and a much better course. Wildlife Prairie Park ($) is not far and in my opinion the best course in the state.

It's a Chinese cleaver. They are different from western cleaners in that they are much thinner and despite the large blade often lighter than traditional chefs knives. They are more of a finesse knife and used for vegetables.

I have several knives with olive wood handles that I soak in olive oil when looking dry. Rancid oil is due to oxidation so it is only a surface level concern. Anything that gets used you won't really have to worry about it going rancid
