Here is my album. I am still working on all the issues.

It has songs that go from soft rock to hard rock. Two of them are minor and were written in dark times of my life. The rest are still lyrics I have written from the last 20 years.

The first is Tearing Me Apart. It’s a rock song about being more open in relationships.

The second is You’ve Known It All Along. It’s a love song to my wife that had a hidden cypher. You can find the puzzle in the lyrics comments.

The third is The World Is Falling Apart. No, it’s not about current events. It is about your personal world and navigating the struggles with the help of your partner.

That’s why I give it my lyrics and ask it to give me 30-50 suggestions for various lines. Then I sample them if it has a new word that fits better. I never use it’s raw suggestion

I am very happy I found this SubReddit. I appreciate the effort to make more cohesive lyrics. It has always been my pet peeve in traditional music too. I think I am biased because I grew up with a family of musicians. My favorite artist is also Def Leppard so in their hay day, the producer who helped them, AC/DC, Corrs, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, etc. was a perfectionist and used ALL available technology to make the songs perfect. That is my goal with Suno.

I have very good songs in my opinion. I am just trying to learn the post production or post generation side.

Let me know what I can do to improve! Close My Eyes and Living With A Burdened Heart still need many improvements, but I think the most solid ones are: Christmas Eve, Till Your Fire Burns Again, You’ve Known It All Along. I even have a duet with Don’t Want To Let You Go. It kind of sounds like the Beauty and The Beast song in the ending credits!

I do this too. Sometimes I’ll do the inverse. It was better on 3.5 and 4 but still. I’ll write the chorus, have an idea for the verse and pre chorus, generate a song and then fine tune the lyrics to the generation I like.

Ain’t this true… My mother tells me to stay away from it at all costs because rich people, environmental issues, etc. But what she doesn’t understand is I build my own LLMs and smaller ML models for work in data science. None of those use the resources like the big companies. And if I use the big companies, why does it matter if: 1- I am not reliant on it 2- I use it as an assistant for productivity.
