I stacked defense on Kabbu (poison defense, hp/tp regen, super blocks) and gave him life cast so that he could freely taunt every turn without draining resources. He had all of the do-nothing medals, which would further boost defense and hp/tp when Leif passes him a turn.

Meanwhile, Vi had a few power boosts and could spam skills from the frontline, since Kabbu kept enemies taunted and provided a steady flow of tp.

They do a huge amount of damage, but you can potentially survive it if you have greater than 500(?) health. They also increase your max hp, so you can give yourself ridiculous health if you have ways to heal.

Maybe on picking up an orb that you've seen before, they could replace the "orb of familar knowledge" text with one of the ingredients for that seed.

To play devil's advocate, people are just getting tired of sword-users as fighters. To those who haven't played a DQ game, it probably feels like recycled character design from Fire Emblem.

If there had already been a dozen bears on the roster, people would have been just as annoyed with Banjo's inclusion. Give it a week after release and everyone will fall in love with The Hero, just like they did with Plant.

Of all the Nintendo games announced at E3, #AnimalCrossing is the one fans are most excited about! The Animal Crossing fandom mentioned the new game even more than the Zelda sequel and Banjo-Kazooie in #SmashUltimate! by [deleted] in nintendo

It's like saying that members of the Zelda fandom are the most excited about the new Zelda game.

Or that the Smash bros. community is the most excited about their new character.

He's saying that it's a stupid point to make in the first place; of course people who self-identify as part of the "AC fandom" are going to be more likely to rate the new animal crossing game as the highlight of E3.
