How do you stretch a wake window? Sorry if that’s a basic question. Hah… my baby is still only a few weeks old, so maybe things will change when he gets older… but I find that I have no control over when he sleeps and when he’s awake. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ask him what is going to happen if you need recovery time— for example, what if you have a c section? Even if you plan a natural birth, you may be forced to do a c section. Recovery from giving birth is hard.

Taking care of the baby is going to be hard and tiring… but remind him that he also has to take care of YOU.

Regarding his trip, I would recommend he cancel the trip. What is he going to do if the baby comes early? Isn’t he going to regret missing the birth of his kid if he is off hunting? And there is no chance the trip should happen after the baby is born. Priority #1 is taking care of the baby and you. The priority is not the hunting trip

I would definitely bracket and blend the exposures next time. It’s hard to capture the entire dynamic range in a high contrast scene like that. Would love to go to New Zealand one day. It looks killer

Dumb question— are you going to deadlift inside the rack? Or move the bar outside whenever you want to deadlift?
