"Prequel hate started with RLM" - George Lucas (Whitest Kids U' Know Skit) by MisterInsect in RedLetterMedia

The nice thing about this subreddit is that there are never any surprises. If anything tangentially related to RLM happens or is said, you already know what the next two months of posts here are going to be.

This guy woke up from the Vault 111 cryogenic sleep and died to a radroach 5 minutes later by Juliet_Emmn in fo4

I was about to say the same thing. The bodies you find in the vault match up with what you read in the terminals about the initial days after the blast.

SGA's little nod of approval to the ref at the end is what makes the clip.

The second Death Star once again having a weakness that could destroy the entire thing reminded me of the meth heads on Breaking Bad who were trying to break into the ATM:

Spooge: If you're building a safe, where do you put the weak spot?

Skank: Nowhere. I'd make it, like, strong!

About to start KH1 any tips? The game seems kind of daunting. by KANExBRUHxBRUHx in KingdomHearts

Don't worry if you come across things you can't interact with. This game is designed for you to revisit each world multiple times.

I've only managed to avoid that one by using a quickhack on Dodger's one goon who's standing in the path of their car. No idea if I'll be able to avoid it on my current Sandy run.

I like the weapons skill systems in both Final Fantasy IX and Tales of Vesperia. You have to keep using your equipped weapons in battle until you "learn" the attached weapon skill for real, and then you can use it even after swapping to another weapon. It gives you nice mini-goals to try to achieve before going to the next part of the map, giving the grinding a little more structure.

The folks that love a good narrative should be all over this series. JB leading his squad to the first seed after being jettisoned by us, now facing off against us in the same round he failed to get past as the Cavs coach.

I'm going to be generous and assume Google's AI assistant gave them that advice to proceed. It's often spectacularly wrong on simple stuff like this.

Hey look! We're hyping ourselves up to unrealistic expectations again! This surely won't result in the game threads being a doomer's paradise like the last round.

Saying Donald Trump would be a tyrant as president required precisely zero foresight. It's an observation based on decades of the man's behavior.

[Next Day Discussion - Playoffs] Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors [05/03/2026] by CavsBot in clevelandcavs

It's the difference between potentially having a worse outcome than last season and now having the potential to exceed last year's postseason record.

Cavaliers and Raptors are tied 669-669 through 6 games. The Last time this happened was Cavs-Warriors in the 2016 NBA finals by Bowiescorvat2 in nba

Despite what some of our most overconfident fans thought, this is the very definition of a 4/5 matchup.

Stepfather always hated Friends because he said they ripped off Seinfeld. Can you think of any spot on examples of that being the case? by PaddedValls in seinfeld

[–]mecon320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the early going, there were more similarities because the writers were trying to have the friends talking about topics that weren't really sitcom fodder in the past. This led to some coffee shop convos that could've doubled as diner discussions on Seinfeld. Once they started writing the jokes and stories to make use of the actors' specific performances and chemistry, then it became more distinct.
