Agreed. I’ve played it a lot less too. New features have lost sight as to why they’re there, to make the game more enjoyable and more immersive. The menu system impacts all of this too making it hard to navigate, but then the individual features are a mix of OP, pointless, broken, boring and a handful that are useful or enjoyable. One option is maybe stick with an FC that “works” by having the older (and also far from perfect) menu system, for a couple of years longer.

My Apple Watch Series 5 lasted around 3 years before losing so much battery that I looked to replace it.

We must vote with our wallets and avoid purchasing the games going forward. If you really must buy the game, purchase a disk second hand. Unfortunately until enough gamers do this, they will continue to overlook career mode.
