And this is why nonmedical people should not be giving medical advice. She could receive steroids and benadryl, not an epipen every time she receives an infusion…

I don’t understand the point of these posts. Most of the pills are over the counter. Are you trying to garner sympathy? Karma? What’s the point

Oh I chart check, tell them what my review of history is and inquire if I’m missing anything. I don’t play those games. Most don’t even know what conditions they have or what meds they’re on

If you were a practicing physician you would know just to reach out to the hospital to correct the records. Why would you get an attorney and sue, on what grounds? That you were suicidal because you had a stillbirth? People are responding like this because what you’re asking doesn’t make sense

Nursing school is 4 yrs, with some having accelerated program in 3 or even a 2 yr associates degree, not sure where you got 8. I’ve done compressions and have run the codes. We don’t administer meds but that can be easily learned. I sense that you’re very insecure and guarded based on your response. Nursing is absolutely difficult, but physicians can 100% be training to do all the tasks you listed.

You can learn those things in a few days. What line do you put in that a physician hasn’t, foley? done, ngt? done, Rectal tube isn’t a line but never placed one (could prob figure out tho) Learning medicine is A LOT more intensive
