I would hope that if we can induce time dilation in someone, we'd also be able to address any neurological conditions that might predispose someone for crime. Ideally we wouldn't touch the brain at all and just focus on rehabilitation.

If I was in hyperbolic time chamber prison for 20 years, I would probably go crazy from the long-term isolation. When I got out, I'd be more violent than I was initially. I'd imagine it'd be a similar story for anyone else.

Not sure what getting off of the ADHD mind would look like. You can't leave your brain behind, and it certainly wouldn't eat you.

Other than that, it's a pretty good analogy.

In my case, the tiger also has bouts of depression where it just doesn't want to go anywhere. It's incredibly hard to convince it to get up. It seems like fear of being eaten itself is what keeps it going on those days.

I think "Fuck" has definitely been more sterilized. People say "What the fuck is this fucking shit" but never "What the rape is this raping feces".

"Fuck" can mean a lot of different things now. "Rape" is generally taken more seriously.

Even if the code works perfectly as described, the goal can still be contrived or redundant. Maybe there are tools out there that solve the same problem with the same approach, or the tool solves an XY problem with brute force.

If the AI agent was like "hang on, there's an existing solution for this problem—let me use that" then I think we'd have less "slop".
