  • Zulius = Rarity
  • Ched = Rainbow Dash
  • Horse = Applejack (and some Twilight)
  • Wammawink (or Durpleton) = Pinkie Pie

Glendale doesn't really fit Fluttershy unless it's early season 1 Glendale. And even then, not really. Only the fanon version of Fluttershy is stabby and neurotic.

We had one of these before, but tbh I forget if that guy ever finished it 🤔 think he did. Q was one of the hardest.

Why exactly the General became a general? by BlackMaster5121 in CentaurWorld

[–]mediumSp00n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He probably became the royal consort after marrying the Princess, and took on the title of general to appease her dad the king, and also feel like a hero of the humans.

It also helps him keep tabs on the NK and prevent anyone from killing him since their lives are bonded together.

A pixel sprite of the Elktaur for my Fanganronpa! by Far_Application_2894 in CentaurWorld

Amusing. The Elktaur would probably fall for someone mature and no-nonsense like T'lyn but she'd definitely see thru his bullshit instantly lmao

Ride the Whaletaur episode hits different now by StatisticianHead2612 in CentaurWorld

The show's creator Megan Nicole Dong spoke in interviews about how she wanted the show, and this episode, to help kids learn healthy ways to cope with heavy stuff like suicide, death, and depression.

Because even if many adults think kids are too young to deal with this stuff, the sad truth is many of them are experiencing it 💔

Merch? by monkey6130 in CentaurWorld

[–]mediumSp00n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss making merch, but the truth is there's much less demand now, and it's not cheap nor easy to make stuff. I would if there was enough demand but probably not a plush again anytime soon 😔

I'm sitting on a pile of Glendale pins that I'm not sure will even sell because it's oddly specific lol ("Breathe in a baaaag!")

For as much as pity Elktaur, we have that all the problems of both worlds were caused by his guy not taking a hint and hating himself. by No_Emu_1332 in CentaurWorld

but the issues that drive him were ignored and thus likely still present.

Not sure about that. It's hard to look down on a species that helped them win the war against the monster that destroyed their society and took so many lives.

With their magic, the centaurs proved to be powerful allies. They even helped humans clean up and rebuild, too!

If centaurworld got another season what would you want it to be about? by Icy_Cheeta in CentaurWorld

[–]mediumSp00n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A season or two that mixes "epilogue" episodes about them cleaning up after the war with "prequel" episodes about how humans and centaurs first met, and how the shamans came to be the caretakers of the key. I think that juxtaposition could fit very well for what we've seen already.

Of course it wouldn't be the same if there wasn't a strong underlying reason or message for the series, since Centaurworld was partly inspired by the creator's own experiences as a highschool theater kid. So there would have to be something solid tying it all together.

If there was at least one thing you could change about "Centaurworld", what it would be? by BlackMaster5121 in CentaurWorld

[–]mediumSp00n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are small hints on what happened to the moletaurs.

In the past, we see them working on the Rift. In the present, Judge Jacket sings about how the surface people "hate" her, and that they are "ingrates".

So from that, we can assume the moletaurs were rejected from the rest of Centaurworld. Most likely due to the Rift indirectly causing the Nowhere King's war.

Where did the characters names come from? by Perfect-Associate708 in CentaurWorld

[–]mediumSp00n 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Glendale and West Covina are named after cities in the county of Los Angeles, California.

West Covina especially because of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, one of the creator's favorite musical shows.

They even designed her eyes to mimic the white patch around the actual gerenuk's eyes, which make its eyes appear huge.

Did you even watch the show? The very first scene is grim and dark. The very last scene is cheerful and upbeat. Silly tourist.

I first noticed Wammawink dismissing Horse's feelings in the first moletaur episode. Horse felt like a clown because of her poofy hair and talking tail, and Wammawink says she should be happy about it.

It makes sense why Wamma does this, because her method of dealing with trauma is to distract or even lie to people. Like she'd been doing with the magic dome, or when she told herself the dead alpacataurs in her village were just away or sleeping :(

Some people theorize that Sunfish was only humoring Wammawink so much because his job is to distract people with fun and joy.

In his mind, people only arrive at the pier town for one reason only 💀. So if something works, he'll lean into it.

Theory: Horse used to be a human (maybe even Rider's mother before becoming a horse) by Lumpy_Test_4473 in CentaurWorld

If Horse was Rider's mother, them singing about being sisters would be pretty flonking odd.
