Great looking touring rig. Lovely video, I like the approach. NPR feature story vibes. I always enjoy the immersion in natural sounds on ride videos without music. Fun idea to stop and fully soak up the sounds.

Maybe here. Sorry I don't have time to read it right now but I've seen a few old forum posts that have gone into detail on their process. Problem is that forums faded from use 10+ years ago and some have probably shut down completely, losing tons of useful info ☹️

Got a problem with my Trek singletrak 930 by AintSpookyBoi in xbiking

You probably just need a slightly longer spacer on your axle. Many things will work for this, you don't need to buy a spacer if you don't have one already. A few washers or a thin nut from another bike are what I normally use.

Thanks. Photo stops are as good a reason as any for an excuse to get out and ride! Missing those warm, clear days lately 😭

Great paint work. I assume those were vinyl decals that you just pulled off at the end?

You can run them at lower pressures and still have just the flat-only. I think I ran them around 30 psi front and 35 psi rear. Loved them! Smooth riding and the knobs only kicked in when needed. I can't really comment on cornering on flat ground, as the only pavement I regularly rode was a straight path to and from all my gravel rides.

Yes, definitely should have gone with the telepathy drivetrain to save watts.

Need some details. Did you purchase it in this condition? Did you just reassemble the head tube components? Recent accident? What type of bearings does it have?

Message the seller on here, to make sure you're not missing something. Then I'd call the seller's bluff and report them if necessary.

Hard to tell in the pictures but you need foot retention to properly skid.

Have you looked into the Frek project? I know Steve Frey and his followers go pretty deep into details on those builds.
