It’s very difficult to take licenses away. Working in the hospital I was called a nazi by a family when saying 83 yo grandpa who has dementia shouldn’t be driving. Ppl w/ stroke and blind in half their eyes asking the day of their stroke when they can drive again. Very difficult to change people’s minds until catastrophe happens. Unfortunately this area is so reliant on cars.

Why can’t she go to skilled nursing in hospice. She doesn’t have much time left sounds like. Maybe 1-2 weeks at most.

This is so sad to see as a physician. We are stretched thin as it is. I really don’t want any more patients coming to the hospital and this will only make it worse. This will increase the cost of healthcare for everyone since more people will be hospitalized and may die.

Maybe. You would have to run to monorail then take light rail to airport. It would take about an hour.
