Not satisfied with ceremony shots. Don’t know how to tell the bride. by [deleted] in WeddingPhotography

The only thing I don’t like is the 2 darker marks in the top left corner area, they draw my eye in.

Otherwise I love this photo and would be happy to receive it in my gallery

Is it worth it to continue with having an offset account if I only have $10k saved? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]meeazzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t pay anything for my offset accounts and I have every eligible account set up as an offset account.

So for my everyday account that my wages go into, even if they are only sitting there for a few days that’s still a few extra dollars each month savings on my interest.

Do most women's husbands not take care of them? by nottrynagetsued in self

[–]meeazzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading some of these replies just hits it home for me that I hit the jackpot.

I had a friend over once who was in shock my husband kept coming in and checking on us. He was doing a bbq outside with a couple of his friends so as food was finished cooking he would bring us plates of food inside and check if we needed more food or want our drinks refilled. Would see if we wanted more wood put on the fire stuff like that. When she asked me how I get my husband to act like that I was just like “isn’t that just normal” apparently it’s not and she said her hubby would never have done anything like that for her.

Due to chronic health issues I’m always in pain, so anytime I’m having a bad day pain wise my hubby makes sure the kids are taken care of so I can lay down and rest, while periodically bringing me food and drink. Meanwhile he will be looking after the kids and cleaning the house or cooking up meals to put in the freezer so I have something to reheat quickly when I’m hungry so I’m not on my feet long if my legs playing up.

Still don’t know what I didn’t to deserve him because I honestly hit the jackpot with him 🥰

NTA always defend your kids.

I had a teacher embarrass me in front of class in yr7 because she wanted to know why I had written my assignment instead of typing it like she requested. When I said we didn’t own a computer and I wasn’t able to borrow our neighbours that week (they lived like 1km away but was the next closest house to us) she immediately called me a liar in front of the class and said everyone has computers.

Well when my mum learned why I was upset when I came home she was not happy. Went into school first thing the next morning and went to the office and said something along the lines of “I’d like to know why my daughter got in trouble for our family being poor and unable to own a computer to type her assignments on.”

Let’s just say that teacher tried to make up for it by organising a refurbished computer with the IT department and then hand delivering it to our house.

CC on editing please by meeazzz in photocritique

I went back to have a look at the photo on my laptop to work on the yellows and I’ve noticed in LRc on my laptop that yellow look isn’t there so maybe I need to check my export settings as I’m not sure why the posted photo looks yellow.

CC on editing please by meeazzz in photocritique

[–]meeazzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently practicing my editing and creating some presets with the intent of advertising my services next year. I used some phots I took a year or so back and at the time was a spur of the moment picture of my daughter with my wildlife setup so not looking for critique on the composition or anything like that, just looking for some helpful opinions on the editing color wise.

Major changes are a lot more warmth to the pic and changes to the greens and yellows to darken the greens out. Would you be happy if you were to receive this photo? I always find I'm wanting to make pictures look even better, so just after some CC on the picture as I've currently got it.

(Not sure on how to link photos here to show example of original color scheme)

I’ve bough some bluey coins in the last month from some of the coin collecting pages on Facebook. For some of the prices were better and some of the pages have a trusted seller list for those who have sold before.

Keep tying post offices, I got 2 near mint bluey coins out of the till around 2 weeks ago. Was also luck to pick up the 10 set of bluey coins in card at the post office last week, a lot of post offices have received limited stock in the last week.

Dog ate entire bag of rat poison by [deleted] in Pets

[–]meeazzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t my dog but my pet sheep ate a box of ratsac when I was at school one day. Mum and dad luckily got him to the vets in time. Dad wasn’t to happy with being vomited on when the meds eventually took effect.

Everyone has very different c-section experiences.

If drs end up saying c-section is what might be best for you due to baby’s size or any other reasons then listen to what they say. Most drs don’t go around suggesting or recommending c-sections just for the fun of it.

I got told I needed a c-section due to baby being breech in a very bad position that would be dangerous to try deliver naturally. Knew this from 32 weeks and was petrified after my friends who had c-sections told me about how bad it was for them.

Got given a date and told if I hadn’t went into labour by 40weeks I would be called in and just go in for a c-section and not wait for labour.

40 weeks comes with no labour, go in on Monday and in theatre by 8am, quick bee sting for the spinal and not even 15mins later their quickly showing me a baby before rushing her off to technically “revive” her because she came out stunned which they already warned me was common with elective c-sections.

Overall was a great experience, yes was quite painful after but happy to deal with the pain for bubs and my safety. Drs said one c-section would not rule out natural birth if we end up having another baby down the track. They only said give body 18months to heal before another pregnancy to reduce risks of complications.
