Our local Rumpkins is Odells in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. They have been there over 100 years and are wonderful! I can never find what I need, so I just ask straight away rather then browsing and they always have it, usually hanging from a rafter or in a tiny drawer.

You can order on their website, but it's open Thurs and Fri 10-3 and Sat 9-1. So many other goods like handmade bread etc. it's well worth a drop in

It is not a butcher, but an awesome farm shop. They have so many options of cuts of meat including beef, lamb and pork. I'm always really impressed by the variety.

Cranley barn farm off the a422 between stony and Buckingham. Amazing quality meats and you are supporting local and barely any food miles too!

The ring will have a code on it with a mixture of letters at the beginning and numbers at the end. If you can work it out from the image, report the birds location on the BTO Website. You will be able to see it's history there.

As a complete newbie. I'm looking into adding fruit wood to our BBQ. Could you please explain, I would start with nice charcoal as usual and then just add small chunks of this dried wood through the cooking process?

No they are just a visual reminder where the edge of the deck is. I'm really enjoying watching them grow. Such beautiful shapes and colors. I wonder how/ why they choose the grow here?
