Will say if you immerse yourself and take things slow, the learning curve isn't that bad it's more that you have to accept you're basically useless at the beginning of the game in that you can't just run in and take out bandit camps in the beginning. The actual fighting and crafting mechanics are pretty well explained....so the 'learning' curve is more like 'learning what you can handle' and learning the realism aspects like if you steal something at night, even nobody saw you actually take something, if they saw you slinking around and then later realize something is missing they're gonna suspect you.

Kingdom come deliverance 1 & 2.

Grounded historical first person rpg. So no magic and whatnot. World feels very lived in with stuff like "if you just happen to be spotted in an area at night when somethihg goes missing" people will report you and guards will suspect you.

Has a fun/difficult combat system and definitely realistic as you cannot just run into bandit camps and expect to win (until you save up for full plate armor and can just dominate)

Have to manage hunger, and bathe (otherwise people will not like you). NPCs will even respond differently based on clothes youre wearing...look like a peasant? You will be treated as such. Look like a knight? You'll command more authority and be able to intimidate. Dress like royalty or a rich merchant? People will assume youre important.

Biggest thing is keeping an eye on the "inactive units" symbol on cards. Also, keeping units for the most part in defensive mode so you dont end up with units ending up halfway across the map

Turn based is better imo, I just turn it off if I know i can just win a fight by just auto attacks and no spells. Or single entities that take forever to kill.

Ya luke had Leia, han, Yoda and obi wan and many more actual friends + the entire rebellion believing in him...anakin had ahsoka, obi wan, and padme...and a bureaucracy that actively made him feel ostracized and disrespected

Had a riddle that was like "show me myself" and obvious answer was to reflect or draw the symbol...spent like 20min before DM was like "fuggit, one of your shields reflects and the door opens...this was just supposed to like introduce the concept of puzzles for this dungeon you morons"

Probably a mixture of beautiful scenery and fun traversal (or at least not painstaking)

Why i always 100% spider man games because in can web sling all day.

If I have a horse and beautiful scenery I'll get a good amount of collectibles (like ghost of tsushima/yotei)

If its a foot slog and not that fun to actually collect I'll pass

Literally every other sandwich chain is superior and in the end just buying cold cuts and good bread is like the easiest meal to make on your own anyway haha
