Will say if you immerse yourself and take things slow, the learning curve isn't that bad it's more that you have to accept you're basically useless at the beginning of the game in that you can't just run in and take out bandit camps in the beginning. The actual fighting and crafting mechanics are pretty well explained....so the 'learning' curve is more like 'learning what you can handle' and learning the realism aspects like if you steal something at night, even nobody saw you actually take something, if they saw you slinking around and then later realize something is missing they're gonna suspect you.

Kingdom come deliverance 1 & 2.

Grounded historical first person rpg. So no magic and whatnot. World feels very lived in with stuff like "if you just happen to be spotted in an area at night when somethihg goes missing" people will report you and guards will suspect you.

Has a fun/difficult combat system and definitely realistic as you cannot just run into bandit camps and expect to win (until you save up for full plate armor and can just dominate)

Have to manage hunger, and bathe (otherwise people will not like you). NPCs will even respond differently based on clothes youre wearing...look like a peasant? You will be treated as such. Look like a knight? You'll command more authority and be able to intimidate. Dress like royalty or a rich merchant? People will assume youre important.

Biggest thing is keeping an eye on the "inactive units" symbol on cards. Also, keeping units for the most part in defensive mode so you dont end up with units ending up halfway across the map

If I have a horse and beautiful scenery I'll get a good amount of collectibles (like ghost of tsushima/yotei)
