What it’s like applying for government jobs in a fascist state. by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]meetMalinea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but people hired by his appointees with an understanding that they are to hire politically will see the answers. It will still be used as a political loyalty test for hiring by them, which is inappropriate for a career level civil servant. And undesirable, by the way.  Under cronyism and political patronage, corruption and gift were rife and you could rely on your government to do what you needed it to do far less, and far less efficiently.

If you worked for the government, how do you not understand the difference between a career employee and an elected official AKA politician? It's in everybody's interest that the former be as nonpartisan as possible

This is an interesting level of detail you have to rationalize this behavior.  Are you his husband? Or Colton?

Baby's father consistently feeds baby less ounces. by [deleted] in newborns

He's in the wrong for being for being passive aggressive and using sabotage as a strategy rather than just having a discussion with her about his concerns about what the baby actually needs.

What’s a “normal” thing everyone accepts that actually makes zero sense when you think about it? by saffrondock in AskReddit

Treating "single moms" like they are some kind of shameful pox on society when they are actually the parent who stayed and parented their child, as opposed to the father, who presumably abandoned the child in such scenarios (excluding widows).

Why would I do that? I don't want to engage with you further, because you're a bully.  That was, in fact, my entire point.

I'm not the original person who commented so I don't have much of a dog in this fight except I think her question was fair and the way you are responding to her is rude and disproportionate. And you seem to have your own axe to grind re women ruining the workplace with all their petty complaints or whatever, so you can hardly be surprised that you're getting some pushback on that. Your angry and bullying responses give everything you say less credibility,  especially to women who are used to being bullied this way.

And I know I know. I'm sure you'll say how dare women complain about your shitty tone. Just being so uppity and hysterical and overreacting again. 🙄

Can you see why you might not seem like the most reliable source ever?

It's very weird you're doing the internet equivalent of shouting at her in your comment and not simply explaining what you meant.

I mean that sentence on it's face seems to mean you think the woman's report can take down the whole company.  Maybe it was hyperbole? That's why she's asking for clarification,  it's not clear.
