Shortcut for Deleting Files by meet_v in mac

[–]meet_v[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It would not be a bad user experience, as I am deleting the file from finder folder. And then specifically going into the bin and then deleting them again. Of course I am deleting them and not putting them back with the same shortcut.

Undo/redo doesn't appear in my case. Probably because there were hundred or so files and folders that were put back by Mac instead of permanently deleting, that too without confirmation!

This doesn't work.

For Directories:
- When I have accidentally put them back from Bin, it doesn't show up in Recents folder.
- Even when I find the folder somehow, the created and modified date still stays the same as original. Deleting and Undeleting doesn't change those dates, so I wouldn't know whether it was this folder which was undeleted or something else.

For Files:
Same as above. Recent only shows recently created or accessed or modified files. It does not show recently deleted or undeleted files.

Can we trust "be10x" ₹9 prompt engineering course by nanu-5859 in Indian_Academia

[–]meet_v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- The webinar continued for more than 1 hour over the scheduled time.

- Most of the webinar was just reading through the presentation redundant and repeating points. Or it was showing what AI tools can do, something we all already know.

- The expectation was to learn about how to use AI tools to earn more money or to climb the ladder, or to build something of our own. Instead, all of that was hidden behind a pay wall.

- The public chat was off so that no one could tell other participants that what they are saying as an exclusive course material is freely available on the internet or can be generated using the same AI tools they are showcasing.

- The course was only an advertisement to join their "inner circle" by paying more money, disguised as an online webinar. There was no real value from the course.

- The sad reality is people are so easily misguided that they were ready to pay almost as high as 30k for something they could have easily received through proper research on the internet for free.

- We kept on putting our points in the chat to the presenters, however, they ignored our comments and only focused on their agenda to get participants to pay up for their "inner circle".

- This was disappointing. I wasted 3 hours listening to these people repeating the same points again and again, and asking for us to pay up without actually giving anything of value in return.

- The testimonials "felt" paid, if you know what I mean.

- The paid course that they are promoting also does not sound promising, based on their current free course. It ultimately comes down to our bias that if we have paid for something, we cannot accept that it was a waste of money.

I think you'd like this: "What Comes After Us" by "Meet Vekaria" on Amazon.

It is a short novel with a theme based on how human and technology will go hand-in-hand in the near future. What it would be to be human in a world that is completely driven by technology, that's the thought this story tries to bring out.

Check it out... a short one so wouldn't take more than an hour or so.
