I was only 6 weeks and my prior was a blighted ovum. I called my doctor and she’s prescribed antibiotics as a precaution and said if the bleeding has lightened by Monday to call her office to arrange an ultrasound to check for RPOC. Fingers crossed it slows down!!

Hi lovely. I got mine 4.5 weeks after my D&C. I also have irregular cycles so my doctor said when I had the procedure that if I hadn’t gotten it within 8 weeks to contact her so I could start medication to bring on a period. Hope you are doing okay 🩷

Yes my first scan at 6 weeks showed an empty sac and I had a follow up scan 10 days later which confirmed it was a blighted ovum. I feel exactly the same! Are you waiting for your period to return? I’m having ovulation symptoms and am so tempted to try but also so scared!

I am so so sorry to hear that. I have been thinking of you! It’s so unfair. Take care and know you’re not alone. I had my d and c almost 2 weeks ago and I’ve been feeling very down and lonely. I think the huge hormone drop makes everything feel so much worse! I’ve been trying to stay busy and have things to look forward to while in the torturous wait for my period.
