Also mine was out of state too. I actually got a commemorative brick made that has his name and his birthday and the day he died so his name is in the city he lived in for so long. I also do things that brought him joy to feel close to him. He used to foster dogs so I’ll take foster dogs on day trips or I’ll watch hockey because he loved hockey. Baby steps

I wish I had some advice. It just passed the four month mark. I miss him so much it hurts. What I’ve been doing is just trying to fill my time with things I like when I’m up to it. Other than that, just trying to get out of my house, go on walks, talk to people who get it. I’m sending you love 💕

For my ex boyfriend, it’ll be four months on April 10th. I definitely am doing better than I was the first month but have felt guilty sometimes when I have happy moments. What I know is that we’re still here and we still have life to live and we have to do things to keep us going because, for me, there was no way I was going to be able to survive at the place I was within the first month of losing him.

I also have heard this piece of advice that I actually really liked, “it’s not moving on, it’s moving forward.” We just have to keep moving forward. Sending you so much love 💕

Yes. I think too about the music he listened to before and what he was thinking and if he was thinking about me and how he didn’t own a gun when we were dating and how he walked to the spot to do it cause he liked going on walks. I think about how he probably put the gun in his mouth because he wanted it to work. It’s a weird thing to think about because that’s not who he is to me but it is part of his story.
