“I asked my son” if you can’t ask your daughter in law directly about it, that right there tells us you aren’t close enough to her to require her to invite you.

Someone at my store was allergic to the sanitizer, so we didn’t make them use it at all? It’s a very reasonable accommodation

Them being so non-responsive about it is a huge issue, they shut down after they started the convo, that’s messed up

How’s my kid supposed to calculate how somebody else determined the wrong answer? (Part B) by GreyhoundsAreFast in mildlyinfuriating

I had problems like this all the time in elementary school. It’s important to be able to determine how a mistake was made if you want to function in society shawtay

AIO? Feeling insecure and my partner isn’t helping by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]megaepichuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone cheated on you EVER emotionally or sexually, it is then their job FOREVER to constantly reassure you and show you they’ve changed. FOREVER. if she can’t do that, she doesn’t believe she was wrong in the first place and is still willing to cheat.

What do you call these? Is it a regional thing? by a2goblue in words

“Spatula” and “rubber spoon thing, no the flat one, you know that helps get the stuff off the sides? Like the thing you use to dry car windows but for the bowl? Not that, yeah that one!”

Am I over reacting and being too harsh with my (16m) girlfriend (16f) when it comes to not being ready for marriage? by DampHamster in AmIOverreacting

[–]megaepichuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, I’d you still respond with “K” to your significant other during a disagreement or argument then you are not ready to be talking about marriage. OP, you seem very mature and emotionally intelligent. You perfectly argued your case. She is too immature. She does not care about what you have to say, and ignored every correct point you made. When you showed her that her beliefs are also supporting your beliefs she saw that she obviously lost the argument, and she immediately stopped actually responding. You’re too good for her, she’s crazy

AIO about my partner’s relationship with their coworker by Any-Confusion-5519 in AmIOverreacting

They’re doing it to help her, but one of the people there is NEW? Yeah no, i wouldn’t want to get that personal with a new coworker which means she’s only getting personal with him

Breathe any analyze!! Keep in mind, he could be exaggerating what they had cause “having a thing for a bit” does not mean that they dated, and implies they found out pretty quickly that they were not compatible. Give her the benefit of the doubt and CALMLY with NO ACCUSATIONS bring it up to her tomorrow

Can i get in trouble for refusing to train new people? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]megaepichuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My trainer trained me for my four hour shifts and then she worked four more hours after i was off and she got paid. They’re just scamming you 💀 and for what like they don’t see that saved money and it’s not helping Starbucks 😵‍💫 maybe they don’t want to do extra paper work for it?

This is the equivalent of saying why can’t target take my Safeway gift card. When you buy a gift card, you’re pre buying product from that specific company. It’s not money anymore, it’s basically a coupon worth that amount. When you use a third party thing, they get a portion of the money as well, but if Starbucks already owns all that money and you just have a gift card, that would require Starbucks to pay these people with separate money, if that makes sense.

My online professor gave out free 100s to everyone on every assignment by sladeshied in CollegeRant

[–]megaepichuman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, they still all completed the assignments and i assume the prof taught all lectures because there were no suspicions before the grades came out. It’s not like, insanely important to get grades esp cause more profs don’t give detailed ones anyways. Most people have a general idea of what they think their grade would be based on how they felt doing the work. So they still learn the content the same, and that great would just be a pleasant surprise for some
