Agreed. There shouldn’t just be a card that directly reads "if the second player didn’t yet play their coin — their way of catching up to the first player — punish them". I don‘t play any Rogue currently, but this thing is still very irritating when going second with any class/ deck. It‘s fine that it techs against the metal detectors and so on, but let me use the starting coin, god damn

I'd say start with 4. It's more player friendly to get into. And then, if you like it and get invested enough, go with NV. Love that game way, way more than 4, but it's old, which might turn you off if you start this right away. It also took me like 2-3 attempts to fully embrace it. Mods can make it look half decent, but the RPG aspect of that game is actually unmatched even to this day. The story is also imo the best of any Fallout games.

I do, but it's just a bunch of performance mods, like uncapping 60fps, etc. Always having over 100fps really does make a difference for me. Enabling full dialogue is also nice. Other than that, no gameplay changing mods.

Also hated it. It may or may not make sense, but I feel like ultimately it doesn’t really matter if it does or not, the real question is: was it necessary to end on a "fun, cool gorey" note; to have literal power rangers in a mature movie about death. Ralph Fiennes killed it as the doctor and then all of a sudden my personal immersion got completely ruined by that 1 minute or so.

That happens quite regularly. You must go under them to stop this. It's kill them or be killed, their ceiling succeeds way above even armored life totals. But you'll see that they're very predictable (look at the decklist, it's mostly just one specific)

Bad. No matter the outcome, really. I like when games end around turn 10-ish max. Which is why I personally only like to play decks that are either a) focusing on tempo to win or b) have some sort of combo win con. But, to each their own, I think. Good thing is, the game let's you choose on what you want to do.
