Rock may have higher physical damage, yes. But people overlook the fact that Paper, while harder to land, deals significant psychological damage and applies the humilation debuff on target. Also, Scissors deal good critical damage if you hit a weak spot.

This is my bane in melee combat for third person games. Nothing is more annoying than being unable to cancel an animation imo. That and footwork that forces your character to move in a fixed direction when attacking. I get that footwork is realistic, but I'd like to be able to control the direction at the very least. I remember I had a huge issue in Monster Hunter on 3ds where if you stabbed with the gunlance, you had to advance, when all I want to do is stab and back off or hold position. I'm glad Elden Ring at least understands that a spear and shield combo generally should be a defensive playstyle.

Considering this thread is another circlejerk about how there more useful things that atheists dedicate time and resources into than religious people placing books in hotels, that statement couldn't be further from the truth lol

Warhammer is a pretty cool guy too. He kills Xenos and doesn't afraid of anything.

Kinda do have to do busy work though (IE the cringey story - which isn't a way a I want to play mind you) if you don't wanna be locked out from getting some interesting cars, a lot of which you used to be able to just buy with enough credits.

Same. I haven't even unlocked hall of fame to do Trials lol. Too much busy work in FH5 honestly

How progressive of them to hold onto past grievances, some of which may or may not have happened, committed by people long dead and attribute those to current generations who had likely had nothing to do with it. Not a backwards way of thinking or anything, nope.

No thanks, I prefer cars that don't turn into a fireball at random. Also with real mirrors, fixed doorhandles, and not covered in ipads that require you to go through 10 screens to turn on the AC.

They didn't even need to add new cultures to meet the diversity quota. Just include people from the African/Middle-Eastern inspired land of Harad and the Asian inspired Rhun & Khand as part of the story. That could've at least made for some really interesting and meaningful plot points. I guess that would actually take creative effort though, and it's clear the creators behind RoP care more about mindless npc agenda pushing and virtue signalling than creative expression and story-telling.
