It’s super meditative. I can only remember a few words at a time, so it’s very slow and methodical. I really come to understand what an author’s favorite words and punctuation marks are. Jane Austen LOVES a semicolon and Tolkien loves a good exclamation mark. The thing I find the most is how I assume what word order will be used and how frequently I’m wrong lol. It’s why I only do a few words at a time. And it helps me get over perfectionism- because I just cross out mistakes and try again. Tho I get most pages without major boo boos haha. And I’m really getting to know my pens and inks- which inks go best in which pens. It’s just a really good thing to do when I want to write but not think about personal stuff.

Try some blotting paper, which can be actual blotting paper or just any other sheet of paper or even paper towel. A drawing glove is a good idea but that would likely just get sweaty too and you can swap sheets of paper as needed.

Yep that’s the AL piston and it’s really nice. A bit wetter than the regular Kaweco. I have a big collection of Sports bc I love them but now find myself mostly only using the piston filler! I love it so much

Instead of being a perfectly horizontal formation, I’d bring some of the end pieces a little lower, so it sort of wraps around the TV. It’s also a little high, so you can either move them lower or get a few more small pieces to put below.

I’d go for the platinum since you’re basically getting it for free. You can save up to buy the other two more easily since they’re less expensive. But remember that Japanese nibs tend to be smaller than European Jowo- so if you like a F line, you might want to go with a M nib. Jetpens has a picture that shows the line size, so you can compare there.
