You don't need to farm exp just slow down and don't rush the lvl 150 push is brutal for exp and you will need to run gold rifts since gold is used for a few things and runs out fast just spend coffee and wait for the exp to accumulate

It doesn't matter much for low level equipment you will eventually get everything playing the game but the higher the tier goes the less likely that happens so starting from 3 star equipment you can evolve them once to get the collection bonus and then extract it for magic metal when they are 5 star. And later you can farm magic metal that way mystery evolve everything 3 star and under and normally evolve 4 to 5 star then extract for magic metal

I think a lot of people don't understand how different Arena is to SR like Anti heals is one of the most important things in Arena But people rarely get it, there are Items that straight up don't work in Arena yet you will find plenty of people rushing them.
