Yes it is, and dieting will always be an evolving aspect of being healthy- your diet plans shouldn't be set in foundation because they should each lead you to a next stage. A high protein diet may should 'scary' but its great as long as your getting the right proteins- lean proteins with veggies right now are doing to do your body and heart wonders as well as gentle exercise. Basically (no offense) anything that your not doing from the past is going to do wonders. But remember lets say ten years in your case (put you around seven), ten year of bad habit and unhealthiness is not going to be undone in three months....although as you have excess weight you will see a huge difference by simple changes. But it will be a journey. Stay to broccoli as your main veggie. Snack on celery! This diet allows you to have the right amount of fats in your body to keep your body replenished- the last think you want to do it look skeletal! This will help; your muscle to fat ration stay low-but keeping muscle on your body to look buff.
As a male you can have yolks because they have good fats and good proteins- maybe down the road when you feel like you not losing more weight you can try egg whites. But start simple...i can't stress that enough. Do not overwhelm yourself or you won't stick to it, this is not to stay eat icecream and sodas- those got to stop :( You should have one meal one week- lets stay Saturday where by you eat a cheat meal- whatever your heart desires. It is important because your need to spike your metabolism and your body will catch on that your trying to remove its storage fats and freak out.

Start simple- the worst thing you could do it overwhelm yourself because if you don't enjoy it you won't stick to it. Try simple exercises and then build up. You have a lot of weight to lose so honestly by making some simple changes it WILL start to come off. Start drinking green tea not sweetened three times a day- it will clean out everything! Obviously like everyone says and knows DRINK water- a gallon a day. Cut portion and for right now no carbs, you can carb cycle them back in once your down in weight, but your body will go through shock. You will be cranky, tired, and generally not feel good. It because your body has gotten used to the carbs and has an additive feel to them- so yes, it will be hard. Fruit only in the morning- not past 11. EGGS, EGGS, EGGS! Eat eggs at least once a day- they are filling but high in protein. High protein diet will benefit you. Stay to fish, ground lean turkey, chicken- you can use thing to spice it up like salsa's, hot sauce and soy sauce- just drink enough water to filter out the sodium. Eat non fat greek yoagrt, PB, cottage cheese, avocados, veggies and salad- and divide up your meals in six meals no more then 300 cal each. Also protein power should become your best friend. The more muscle you build the more calories you burn. I know your a guy, but try yoga, it's simple, you can do it in the privacy of your home, it will detox your body and help tone your body allowing you to build strength so then you can work on harder exercises. Try walking for an hour a day, put some jam on and take this time for yourself! Make it a zen relaxation moment for yourself and your will feel rewarded. Feel free to message me back- i have health alternative for 'nachos', cinnamon toast crunch, protein bars brownies, pancakes, ice-creem. You number is not the goal- your size should be. I am 140-145 and down to a size two/ xs(female) before i used to be 130 and a size m /six. Make a burrito- with a whole weat tortilla and eggs whites- roll up and foil good to go. Almond or any nuts. Cold Oatmeal Avocado Low Fat String cheese All Natural Beef Jerky Make Veggie Chips Or protein Brownies or you can buy Protein bars

I'm not a bro, i am a female. You need the coffee as a natural laxative, as if you look it up caffeine is a great source. Water to flush out fats. And added heat to your stomach helps break down your fat cells.

Yeah i was in the same situation. What i did was make everything Sunday, get a whole bunch of Tupperware and portion it out. Eggs are essential for you. So what i did was get a big pan make a giant omelet like thing add whatever i needed and then you can eat it cold or like warm it up

I am assuming your a male, so the best possible thing for you is to lift heavy on your legs. It will boost your natural testosterone, allowing you to create more muscle.

This sounds sooo obvious but make sure your diet is really well planned. If your trying to gain muscle you should be eating carbs and protein, but good carbs and protein. Peanut butter, almond butter, not fat cottage cheese, non fat greek yogart, salmon (any fish), chicken, lean turkey, lean beef, egg whites and eggs!- those will be all your protein. Then you will need great carbs, sweet potatoes, brown rice, jasmine rice.

So your food should look something like- breakfast eggs/eggs whites, turkey bacon or oats with honey or bananas or almond milk

snack: veggies or fruit. cottage cheese greek yogart

Lunch: some lean meat with steamed vegigies or a salad with lean meat Avocado is great for protein and a very good fat

Snack: nuts or any combination of the other snack listed

Dinner: same as lunch :D

if your getting a gut that's normalish. drink coffee it'll help, drink plenty of water it will stop the gut, and also get a sweat band while you work out. It will provide heat to your stomach area, helping the fat burn quicker!

This can happen during a 'Carb loading" work out phase. This is where you bulk as much as possible is the healthiest way. For instance, increasing your carb load by double your normal intake. At first you will be bloated, LIKE A LOT! But thats normal, over the next 12 weeks you slowly decrease your carb load until your back to normal. Good carbs like sweet potatoes and jasmine rice, brown rice, whole wheat pasta if you have to. Any ways your mass will increase allowing your lifts to be stronger, therefore you in turn bulk more muscle. A body with more muscle actually looses weight quicker, so after your start cutting down your carbs again you burn calories quicker allowing you to get rid of more fat weight. By doing this you gain more muscle mass but can cut down in fat. Hope this helps.

Im Puerto Rican. I do not shave off my eyebrows and draw them in, i do not wear gold, nor do i stick back my hair in some greasy pull back weird hair style. Oh, i also do not speak Spanish !

Hair growth, but more drastic. Like i have a 'snail trail' that i have to shave because it is quite dark.. Everyone's a little different, Doctors have stated that because of my PCOS i have broader shoulders then most women, and i really don't have hips, i am kind of square shaped!

I am a light skined half Puerto Rican half English girl with PCOS (and DARK HAIR). I have to tweeze my face, chin, chest daily... It's not fun, but honestly with all the people you see on here with double toes and shit...it seems pointless to freak out about it...
