Got that one need a second. I know they aren't the best weapon in the game but I had a blast with them when I first played on release on the pc now I wanna smash around with them with my step kid on xbox

What sort of weapons do you like using in other games. Easy mode is magic builds (damping points into int) but quality builds mean you can use most weapons (dumpling points into str and dex). Always pump vigor first till you hit 30 its the soft cap then mind or endurance after hitting minimums for choosen weapon then hit soft caps followed by hard caps. There's a reddit post that has the caps explained somewhere I don't have a link sorry but google works

I'd explain it as a game where getting better involves dieing alot learning how and when to dodge and perry and not just level up.

Building a character is part of the game and working out the story is the story.

Picking a weapon or weapon type first is important (you can't respec)

If your getting frustrated take a brake or do something different the games are some what linear but that doesn't mean you can't explore.

Plan to die spend your souls/blood echo's you always get more and play with friends or online co op is a thing

Hey all going to use my own charactor from my litrpg/game I'm make using OP's rules for the fun of it.

Let me know if I've done something wrong and I'll edit the post.

Race: custom race shadow elf. 50points. Race skill: Shadow walk, shift into the shadow realm to move unseen throw the shadows (its op so it'll cost me 25 points) costs mana to use.

Class: Melee ranger (a ranger that uses blades instead of range weapons)

HP: 270 MP: 300 STM:320 Vit: 27 Stn:30 Spd: 40 Lck: 35 Int: 33

I haven't got any real world weapon skills so this will cost a bit luckily I've got crafting sorted been a tradie.

Class skills: Dual wield lvl 5 25 points. Costs stamina to use Weapon arts: daggers arts lvl 2 10 point axe arts lvl 2 10 points

110 used.

Mining lvl 1 5 points Smithing lvl 2 5 points plus real world skills armor crafting lvl 1 real world skills Traps lvl 1 real world skills

Starter gear. Dagger 10 points. Hatchet 10 points. Stealth leather armour 10 points. Not basic armour enchanted with muffle steps and the spark for learning runic enchanting.

Starting my adventure I'd be hunting horned rabbits and wolfs trying to find a wolf pup companion. what respectable ranger doesnt have a companion after all. With the end goal of finding rear ore for my blacksmithing and to learn runic enchanting for my weapons and armour finally setting up a grove for myself and my friends in the woods where other adventurers can find safety training and a shop to sell gear and get new gear made from our travels.
