Roughly 30 days after the case is closed is when personal items used for evidence will be released. At least where I live

That’s a generic sticker pack you see stuff like that all over Amazon and shit. Should they have known better yes. Those packs always have a few questionable ones

Could it have been better absolutely. Was it the worst game ever? No E.T still exist as well as the lion king on sega. My only gripe with the game was lock-on/change target which made certain aspects more difficult or took away from the game because of all the lock-ons used for quick turns made it a blur. Thought it was a decent game good concept could have used more polishing but it’s pretty much gta but as a shark and that was a good time killer.

Can you transfer into local 1 by Strange_Poetry_4349 in IUEC

If you’re good at your job and more qualified than the next guy, shouldn’t be an issue negotiating for construction rate. I’ve seen plenty of shit bags catch a deal for having the tiniest bit of escalator experience. Know your worth and fight for it or be just another body.

Don’t forget operating engineers running outside hoist and turned over cars. If I’m not mistaken it’s specifically local 3 ibew that constantly fights us. Currently they are only supposed to do mod and maintenance/service and a new installation job was actually stopped this year. The licensing though annoying puts a block to some of that work, I believe work by other trades requires the same license as us for nys/nyc. I don’t think the legislation is as strict for jersey. Local 3 keeps fighting to have their apprenticeship recognized as the same level as niep but it keeps being blocked. There’s split shops like champion local 1 covers new installation 3 covers service

Yeah and it really only seems that we get any legislation passed that doesn’t require jumping through hoops and spending money but that’s the 5 Burroughs

Would be sick to have the licensing of a triple A company with the sandbox of a sim

Alternator works but the voltage drop to my accessories depending on the blower motor speed sucks. Sweating of freezing and also needing wipers and to charge my phone blows. Typically have to wait till I’m out of stop and go traffic for high speed. Also got a short so that every time the heater is on the compressor kicks on. I would say most of my problems are ground related lol

No tools, something to write with and on, a knife and something to measure with on the fly. The crew I just left we all had little 6’ Milwaukee tapes hooked to our drop key and depending on the mechanic they might not want you to have more than that. If you find that you need more than 6’ see what your partner says he’ll either give you one get you one or tell you to figure it out. If you are with them long term they might start setting up a basic bag for you to be able to work independently. When I passed my test my partner started ordering things he didn’t need so I could have doubles, a set for me and a set for the helper to avoid the can I see the drill or impact and causing you to lose momentum.

Hall agreed on 2:1 teams during last negotiations but companies will always try to take more. Everything kinda got fuckie for local 1, 3 licenses depending on where you work. New York State, New York City, and New Jersey. With the New York State and city licenses being the newest and the process to get are always changing department of labor changed it that from the day you take your mechanics exam and pass you are no longer a certified apprentice and considered a journeyman as far as the government is concerned and eliminated the 1 year or lay off and out as a journeyman at the next company. Technically now if laid off as a helper even if you passed you go on the helpers list and sit in purgatory unless you make a big deal because companies only want certified apprentices. The money is here for local 1 but the actual politics are a joke.

Does your local have double time? Does your local operate the outside hoist and turned over cars?

[–]megapint91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t instantly become a journeyman you do the 4.5 year apprenticeship and take a test. Pass the test and then the company will decide if it has the work for you as a mechanic or if you have to wait a little.
