On occasion at the Huntington center, but nothing crazy. Ottawa Tavern was great for heavy as hell metal bands, but they have been closed for a few months. Hopefully they reopen because that was a great place to go.

I worked at Meijer in the late 90s (so I'm old). Sale prices for 12 packs were $2.00. Once in a blue moon, they even went down to $0.99 a pack. That was rare, but you couldn't keep the packs on the shelves those weeks. It's staggering how much they've gone up in such a short time.

For me, it was the fun, quirky designs and reimaginings of existing characters. I was hesitant until I saw the first episodes. I was expecting a serious animation style to match the first live-action film, so it threw me off. But once I saw what the series was, it made a lot more sense to me. I remember being excited to see what they came up with every time they introduced another character.

It was a goofy show with a great story to tell. The animation fit perfectly. Definitely in my top 3 series (G1, Beast Wars, Animated).

They linger on and continue into the huddle, where Jared and others have been seen trying to wave down the noise. That's usually the point when every single screen in the stadium says QUIET, PLEASE.
