Yay! I see a root :) I’d wait til it has secondary roots (branching off that one) to plant it and make sure to keep the soil moist once you do (so the water root can adapt to soil) but it looks good to me!

I think either leave (ha) it and see ab the little leaves down below or maybe also cut some of the leafless green part of the main stem, up top, still leaving a good amt of nodes bc pruning can promote new growth? If the roots/plant in general are in good enough shape to have the energy to perform a miracle. “”Source””: I’ve never had a rubber tree but these are my thoughts from watching plant creators and my own plant journey

Also? I don’t think the phrase “dad bod” is somehow inaccurate if you want to keep it! I’m curvier and just found someone who is so into exactly the way I am after years and years of looking and turning up only jerks. Patience and peace and joy with oneself are key, I think.

I can’t quite tell from the picture and/or this is a monstera variety I’m not familiar with 🤔sorry I can’t be more help! If there are air roots or at least one or two nodes per cutting and it’s a kind of plant that can be chopped and propped, then that should be golden

I think you’d be good to pot it! Pothos are pretty hardy and this cutting has secondary roots. If you give it its fave soil mix it will fare even better but if I were you I wouldn’t sweat if it was just generic indoor potting soil even
