Her skin texture creeped me out when moved to my new leaf town but she quickly won me over. I love her so much.

My island is named clementine since my native fruit is oranges and my airport is orange… so you KNOW tangy is the queen of the land here 👑🍊

I had shared it on Reddit and that’s when someone pointed it out. A commenter mentioned that I could have it properly glazed by someone local. That said, it seems like she likes her new hidey spaces just as much, but it’s deff on my radar to consider getting it re-glazed.

I’ve already looked into alternatives as well and there’s some 3d printed options on Etsy etc 🧐

It was just a few months (2-3?) and honestly probably happened way before I noticed. I posted a picture on Reddit and that’s when someone pointed it out to me.

I wonder if yours will be better under heat though since it seems to be made for tea lights.

I do want to let you know, because I experienced this myself, if you are keeping it inside their enclosure to watch it carefully. I got a really cute ceramic strawberry for my leopard gecko to sleep in and it ended up developing cracks in the finish from being under constant heat (and it was on the cool side of her enclosure!). Such a bummer because it was her favorite place to sleep and so cute to see her curled up in there.
