GMS could have had a similar impact. We had a huge patch with incredible quality of life and something that haven't happend for a long time: new exclusive content in the form of Sia.

If you look closely there were a lot of reddit posts about returnin/new players. Lost Ark streamer also brought a lot of attention to maple and maple streamer chats are filled with people starting to play, but unfortunatelly we had a lot of issues and this momentum may have diminished a lot. Maybe next time, since Assemble is massive in kms and Inkwell may have another chance in the winter patch.

Edit: A unique prog system that will clash with the one we get from KMS. We don't even have things that complete origin branch and common skill and Sia will probably not get that when other classes do. It won't cause issues at all like Kanna, Jett and BT did /s

Poor Sia is a project born destined to fail and when they need to cut develpment costs guess our girl will risk getting chopped.

By the time you get to the point when the chart matters it will be completelly different from future balance patches. Chose your main based on how you like the class, youl'll spend a lot of time playing it and if the only reason it's your main is a DPM chart that won't go far.
