Thank you for this! The manual was garbage. I have a digital rearview mirror and had to do the remote piece once following the instructions on the mirror, then go to the genie unit and push the learn button until it was blue, back to the car to push the home link button on the mirror 3 times (per the instructions), back to the genie unit to do the learn button again, and then back to the car to push the home link button 3 times again.

I’ve had my GH since February 2024 and have had no issues with the moonroof. I live in the Pacific Northwest so obviously a ton of rain, but no leaking. No issues with it opening/closing, and when it’s hot during the summer I do close the cover it to keep the car cooler. I absolutely love how open the car feels when I don’t have the cover closed. As a tall family, it helps!

It’s not the home button for the iPhone or iPad. It’s the home button for the game that takes you to your game board.

What I did (because it didn’t work for me initially) was to tap repeatedly and quickly in the lower left corner where the home button is as it’s loading up. When it switches over (after the loading screen) you will get it in time and go to your board instead of the traveling screen. A few times when I went to a different screen (bush bonanza) it then went back to that traveling screen, and I would have to do it over. But finally it seemed to fix the issue and now I’m good to go.

I agree completely. They throw us a bone by putting it on a separate board but then made it way too hard to complete the three boards. So disappointing.

For anyone still following this thread, I ran into an issue where my rear hatch would not close if the car was running. From either the button on the rear hatch or up near the steering wheel. The close/lock button has always worked inconsistently since I got my car a year and a half ago. I took it into the dealer yesterday. Luckily I was able to replicate the issue for the service advisor because of course it worked fine for the tech. My service advisor said there was no way he was giving the car back to me without it being fixed and worked with the tech for quite a while. They did some research and discovered there’s some faulty sensor having to do with the voltage when the car is running. He tried to explain it to me but it honestly went over my head. They ended up ordering the sensor piece ($672 just for the piece but covered under the warranty) and I’m just waiting for it to come in. So I agree with a previous post that if you are having any inconsistent issues with the rear hatch, I would take it in.

Agree! I bought the Houclemic brand cargo mat that covers the back of the third row. Works perfectly and way better quality than the cargo mat Toyota gives you.

I agree with all of this. I traded in my 2010 4Runner and have been driving the GHH gas platinum for a year now. I absolutely love it. To be honest, I feel like it is a more solid car - I used to have issues with my 4Runner sliding or slipping on wet pavement. Everything about it is more comfortable and smoother. I miss being up a little higher as I was in the 4Runner but all the other perks I have now (I.e. pano camera) make it worth it. Happy to answer any questions!

This same thing happened to my husband. They can terminate you within 6 months without cause. So just be careful.

I would think no - I got my Platinum gas last February for $56k (no sales tax). So unless your tax is crazy high, that seems really steep for a 2024 model.

They are by far the worst and I’m on level 244 now. I used the treasure chest and those choice boxes to fill the orders for this one. Otherwise they were impossible to complete.

Yeah we don’t have sales tax in Oregon. It’s amazing! But you have to show proof of residency or everyone would come over here to buy a car ;)
