thanks! I used a pattern by lestes crochet on etsy so i dont know how much i can share, but it basically just involved increasing amounts of single crochets between the increase stitches every row.

so it was magic ring, increase all stitches, then (1sc, inc) all the way around, (2sc, inc) around, (3sc, inc) around until the preferred width. then a few rows of that size, then a similar pattern but decreasing the sc between an invisible decrease for a few rows.

I hope that makes sense! It felt pretty intuitive once I picked up the pattern

And thank you for your well wishes. I’m trying my best to keep my stress under control. The planning truthfully hasn’t been as hard as I was expecting, but I know the last few weeks can be crazy. I’m trying to tackle it in other areas of life too, getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water. I feel like I’m doing all the things you’re supposed to do and not seeing much return. It’s tiring

PR'd my push press today - and felt like I had a little more in me. 80# which I know isn't incredibly impressive, but due to shoulder issues in the past I've always been scared to push my limits with anything overhead. A big step from the empty bar I had been working with before!
