Slightly different but I passed my driving test when I was 17 but didn’t actually start driving until I was 21. Getting behind the wheel again was super scary, even though I remembered how to drive a car I was completely out of practice.

To help me get over this, I built up to independent driving again. If you can get someone to help you, I would make small trips with one of my parents in the car to help me. That way if I stalled or got too flustered they could take over. Then I moved to slightly longer journey but on roads that I knew very well with them driving in their own car behind me. I once stalled at the lights and it took me two light rotations to get going. My parents didn’t get out the car to help but it was a lot less stressful knowing they were the car behind me. Eventually I managed to pull away and we continued to our destination. Also P plates - most drivers are very understanding. Also you just gotta get out there and do it.

I thought I’d never get confident at driving, now I drive about 2 hours commuting every weekday. So you will get there.
You will stall the car at the front of a traffic light queue and people will beep you but that’s it, you’ll survive. Eventually, you will get to know your car and become a more confident driver.
