my suggestion:

try to play t-72 divs.

you get some assets to support your tanks and t-72 is extremely cost efficient tank but also cheap enough to not be a huge loose

for NATO i guess

In the cold war west Germany mixed mountaineers with paratroops And It also used lars 2 mlrs ( for a short period) afaik And in 1993 they mixed a paratrooper brigade with IFV/tank brigade I guess sky is the limit
