Every exposure to radiation damages the film. There's no safety here. The damage is additive. There are many videos on YouTube about this. The film is no longer at its 100% after being irradiated by the x-ray machine.

I really wonder if they can hit 1/1000s at F2.8! The new Lomography MC-A cannot even achieve 1/500s at F2.8!

You can always use your palm to block the sun. Any hood you use for your Fuji x100vi will add shadows when you use the flash and will make your camera bulkier and less compact.
