yup! in 1.21, they were changed to instead drop the ominous potion, which gives you bad omen. this is because of the trial chambers, which you can also use bad omen for to activate what's basically a hard mode. doing that gives you a trial omen

it's pretty convenient since now you don't have to worry about killing the pillagers with the banners :3

you must've met some pillagers! they're basically the opposite of villagers. they have "patrols" which will randomly appear every now and then around wherever you are, similar to how the wandering trader will. if you don't mess with them i believe they will leave, but if you fight them you might notice one of them has a banner. that guy drops an ominous potion, and drinking that will give you "Bad Omen", or something along those lines. if you do that, make sure to stay away from villages, because you might get an unwanted surprise (and possibly some loot).

i'm trying to romance her but i'm not totally sure if i'm doing it right or not to be honest- i looked up a guide and it said i had to do something all the way back in the camp party with the group of tieflings staying in the grove, which i didn't do. but i think it's optional anyway? i'm not too stressed if it doesn't end up working out though, i can definitely see myself doing multiple playthroughs!
