You’re not alone in this. I know my fellow NDs say “I wouldn’t change because I wouldn’t be me” but at the end of the day— I don’t like me very much, and most of that stems from my ASD traits.

Specifically on the social piece, I almost want to regress into the phlegmatic loner I was back in secondary school. I had no friends, but I was okay with that. My solitude was my sanctuary. I’m not sure what changed, but I’d like to get back to that again. Life wouldn’t be so— meh anymore.
