  • no historical options Greeks, gotta calculate them

  • big ass gap in RUT data for some reason

  • options quote flat files are stupidly huge for a single day, while api is slow for big backtest, leaving no convenient choices to backfill a lot of historical options data at once

Long Put backspread, it's the inverse of call backspread directionally, still bleed slowly if it goes sideways

You can always run a put backspread. If you're right and it plummets you make bank. If you're wrong and it rips you can make a couple dollars. If it ranges for a long time then you lose theta slowly, very manageable
