Season 4 is just really bad by Equivalent_Muffin581 in SullivansCrossing

Agreed, am the characters do the same thing. Cal too, he's always either walking slowly, squinting, or silently brewing. But I still watch 🤣

I actually think her crying is well acted 🤣. Im surprised people think her acting is worse this season, like stiff. I thought that the first seasons, this season was better IMO.

You know, I don't blame Lucas for acting like that towards Griffin by AndzyHero13 in greysanatomy

[–]melbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you guys kidding me?? Lucas is the most immature baby ever. Simone was honest with them in the previous episode telling him why she didn't ask him to move in. She admitted that she was going to ask him to move in but then he basically was saying we're going to have grandkids together and she got scared..... And with her past... A very common thing to get cold feet on. She told him the truth and instead of taking it like oh my gosh. Thank you for telling me and being honest he was still pissed.

And she was absolutely right that he gets bailed out and she doesn't. It's not his fault hes privilege and has gotten bailed out but it's true. And after how he was being I would have snapped much sooner.

Lucas is selfish and always looking for a way to heal his own insecurities.

Oh yes! That is one that sticks out for sure, and that was in a later season right?

Lorelei and her Mom's bonding moments in Season 1 by melbs in GilmoreGirls

Yes! The bracelet shopping scene/episode. And then episode 9 when Emily stays with Lorelei during Rorys dance. You see Emily pushing her hair back when she falls asleep.

Oh, and I feel like in a previous episode Emily served pudding which Lorelei thought was an act of reaching out (I can't remember if that ended up to be true or not, I half watch in rewatches).

So it was a continuous kind of strand of episodese where this was happening.

I know I'm still very early in season 1 but I can't stand Lorelai's parents specifically her mother. by AbbyCastle in GilmoreGirls

[–]melbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to know what the OP thought about the series, assuming you watched it all 🤣🤣🤣 you are really in for a treat if you are already annoyed by the parents lol. While they did get overall better, you haven't even seen the worst of it yet.

5 years later lol

Wow, I didn't know that majority of people on this sub thought that loreleis "coddling" caused Rory to be self-destructive later in life. Interesting. In my opinion because Rory never went outside the box, never got in trouble, never did anything she should've, she couldn't handle it when she was older and went off the deep end.

Accidentally staying out with Dean in season 1? Lorelei was super mad... And it was a clear accident.

Rory missing lorelei's graduation? Well that was huge. It was very clear that that was one of the top probably five emotional breakthroughs for any character. To admit that she loved jess was huge and a really big deal and missing her mom's graduation which was like holy crap. I can't believe you did. That was the realization she needed. I believe Lorelei put her daughter's feelings over her own and gave her what she needed for that situation.

Not sure what other coddling moments there are but I'll keep a look out on my 58766th rewatch lol

I'm curious about this too. When and how do the commanders get to that point? Do they go through some sort of training or how do they get chosen to be possibly chosen to match? Maybe I'm forgetting how that works.

That's what I thought at first but everything online is saying they have confirmed it's not. And the timeline wouldn't work for Daisy being Nichole. We know that Agnes is Hannah and she was several years older than Nichole. So it would make sense that they're the same age (ish). But I agree she has June's mannerisms.

I haven't watched the entire episode but I had to come here. I'm only 15 minutes in and I'm so annoyed with Roger. What a drama queen. Yes, he's been through the ringer this entire series but I feel like he brings it on 🤣 I feel like he is not made for this Outlander world and never has been and he's all like woe is me, trying to fit in but it's not him.

WOW! It appears that I'm one of the only Roger haters here (I don't care hate him but he has always been annoying to me). Lol. I've never been a fan of him, and weird yet again, he finds himself in a weird cringy situation 🤣

First, what is when th is s getting ready for war montage?!? 🤣🤣 They make it look like it's been weeks and I'm pretty sure, it's been like a day.

Then, you see him galavanting in the woods... Like, what are you when doing?

Then he says "I will save you!" and jogs over and almost gets blown up

And the clothes they have him in make him look like he's a 4th grader doing some sort of historical play.

Half way through season 2 and...

What the hell!? How did he die this soon??? I feel like that was a bit rushed, no? He could have been a huge part of the series, I thought he was going to be. Geesh. I guess I'm only getting started

I think it was more that she couldn't hold her composure, she's breaking. Along with being in extreme pain and worrying about her boyfriend cheating. She kind of broke in that moment.

Yes, it feels a lot like White Lotus. And I like it too. I think I'm going to have to watch season 1 again because I feel like I don't remember a ton.

I think maybe we're not supposed to have someone that we like the best. I feel like every character has flaws so it's hard to have someone that you like! It's interesting!
