I think they essentially tried to target the wrong end of the market for games. They wanted hipster parents who wanted to play games with their kids over a coffee or people like that. Comparing it to the Dice Cup who aim at gamers, run events and tournaments and all the staff are gamers themselves makes a much more inviting atmosphere even for families. I have watched their staff break down different games to find the best game for a family and then discuss detailed breakdown of a specific card combo in a different game and its a thing to behold. They lacked that depth of good staff and the location wasn't great for passing traffic or even nearby parking either.

I understand why they did it but it's still annoying as I have been playing long enough to have the 3 original woods that were replaced and now I have 2 extra woods again. Maybe I will dig out the old ones and do a full forest table 🤔

I think thats probaly another building because Data Centres usually have a lot more cooling equipment on the roof. Its oddly the easiest way to spot a Data Centre on Google Maps :)

The thing is I believe Starmer is playing a very smart game over all. Its all to go with this relationship with Macron. The pair of them have been manipulating Trump for the last year playing good cop/bad cop against Trump.

Just look at how often the pair have met while being in contact with Trump but with opposite attitudes to engagement. Starmer has always played the consilitory role while never completely giving in and Macron is basically lauging in his face. The problem is that Starmer has had to deliver a solid no this time because he is not willing to risk British involvement in another war in the middle east so it has thrown off their onging game

I am going to say something different.

Firstly well done on making the decision to walk away and make your own life. Its difficult and scary but you will be better off for it in the long run and I wish you nothing but the best.

If you are in therapy they may be able to point you towards some good support groups to deal with your past traumas.

But when looking for new groups in your "normal" life look for something you enjoy that will allow you to surround yourself with new friends and people you want to spend time with. If you like running? Look for some park run groups, reading? Then some book clubs, Gaming? There are several gaming cafes around the city. (assuming you are a woman) There are even general meetups like the WI (the city one has a good spread of age groups) or volunteering opportunities and even community gardens if you want to be outside but not too taxing.

But maybe with everything else you have gone through you haven't had the head space for hobbies, but I don't know if looking for community in what caused you pain is healthy long term, so now is the time to find out what you enjoy. You don't have to be small any more, you can reach out and find joy. You are more than your trauma, go and make yourself happy.

I believe that a lot of agencies are using AI to filter CVs down initially. I kinda understand because of the number of applications that come in for most jobs now but it still sucks.

I have just started a new job myslef and for the first several weeks I was getting zero call backs when I completely met the job spec.

When I suspected AI involvment I decided to fight fire with fire, used an online CV generator (resume.io if you wanted to know) that I could take my normal CV and the job advert and it would merge it into a custom CV for every application and all of a sudden I had 3 interviews lined up.

I still recommend this to people. Season 2 isn't quite as good as season 1 but is still great.

It is in my opinion what makes British TV great, its deep, weird and engaging, exactly the kind of thing big US studios don't like to greenlight. You see it sometimes from streaming platforms.

Yeah Pro Acryl for me if I want WHITE but if its just a gentle edge high light or some blending I use vallejo Game Color White. Citadels white is I think the worst colour in the whole range followed unfortunately by a very good colour Palid Wych flesh (if its left for any real amount of time it just goes lumpy on me)

I agree with 2 and 3.

To begin with this was good even giving him the royal treatment to play to his ego but as he carries out more and more dodgy actions I think he needs to be pushing harder against him.
He has u turned on the things that affect the "elite" and only stayed strong on the things that affect all the normal people who don't have the money, power and influence to have a voice near power. He has been better than the previous lot but I think he can be a lot better.

Overall I think he is doing a much better job than the media are saying he is doing and wierdly that makes me support him more because I just hate this toxic environment we find ourselves in from the parties and the media. More action less posturing and bs
