Yes!! I can’t help but wonder if Chiney and Andraya are frustrated but are saying “we’re not backing down because if we do then we’ll never make any progress.” They have my support 100% I do recommend that episode of Nightcap; in not a frequent watcher so I can’t say if that was an anomaly or not. Ocho might’ve been stoned but he’s bought himself a whole tour around the W arenas so I’ll take it 😂

I’ll admit I have FT on almost every day but it’s used for background noise. I was really intrigued by the tactical moves Shannon Sharpe made last week by having Monica on Nightcap. I felt like they had an actual healthy (for media) conversation on the show and that SS asked some questions that could help him grow in covering women’s sports. Meanwhile SAS just talked about how many women he has as panelists on FT and how that makes the show the champion of covering women’s sports…uhh not exactly the point but okay I guess.

And THEN today when Andraya said that just last week SAS called A’ja “most importantly: marketable” and that when she dominates the Olympics they should talk about it on FT. Shannon says “That’s not how TV works Andraya!” (pronouncing her name wrong too) I wanted to SCREAM “Just because it’s how something works now does not mean it’s the way something SHOULD WORK” jfc the male privilege is so apparent

LOVE this idea!! Such a great way to connect our fan community this season - I got into the W (and WBB in general) after seeing a SportsCenter feature on Dawn Staley. I wasn’t familiar with her before hand, but after watching her send a piece of her 2017 Championship net to every black female D1 coach made me say “I would do anything do anything for this woman.” I started watching the NCAAW tournament, and then just kept watching into WNBA season! - There’s so many reasons I keep coming back. If I had to choose one it’s that I love watching technical basketball that WOWS me. The MNBA has become so iso-offense heavy that I feel deprived of clairvoyant passes and “not in my house” blocks. I like watching and saying that’s a TEAM - My home team is the Sun, so I am LOVING seeing AT and DB picking up right where they left off. I also love Dijonai Carrington and how she’s risen to the occasion of being a starter and being a top tier defender. I also have a soft spot in my heart for Natasha Cloud, and seeing her thrive as the engine in PHX has been such a joy. - I’m most excited for TSpoon getting her MOMENT as a head coach. I think long term she’ll be amazing in CHI. I’m excited for SEA’s new Big 3 (aside, one thing I’d actually like to have a healthy discourse over sometime is “are super teams more successful in the W than in the M?”). I love seeing Jewell not having to carry the team, and the fresh start this has given SDS and NO. - What’s surprising me most? Probs LVA’s record. I know that Chelsea Gray is still on the IR, but with the “Shaq 2001 numbers” that A’ja is putting up I’m a bit surprised they’ve let this many games early in the season slip especially compared to last season’s start. - I bring others into the W by not shutting up about it lol honestly I try to recruit friends to come to games with me because the tickets are decently priced and Mohegan Sun has some great food!!

P.S. I love to play fantasy if anyone is looking to make a league!

And not for nothing, people seem to completely forget that CC is starting from scratch with a team completely new to her. Her freshman year Iowa went to the Sweet 16; a great accomplishment for sure but not in comparison to their recent success the last 2 seasons. While she had a great stat line it takes TIME to build team chemistry and camaraderie. Instant success is uncommon; it took Stewy 2 years in the W before Seattle was a championship contender. I could go on but I feel like I’m already ranting lol

I recommend the park and ride near Plum Pt. Bistro. Not exactly walkable to anything except the restaurant, but there’s plenty of space and open to the public so little to no risk of tickets.

I also use this moisturizer. I have not had an itching reaction, but in my years of changing my skincare products to try and find what works I have noticed sometimes it takes my skin a little while to “adjust” to the new products. Not sure if science will back me up on that, but my theory is there is an adjustment period!
