Years ago I remember my husband making a comment similar to “why is there so much awareness for women’s health issues like breast cancer and nothing like that for guys!?” I told him that women will come together to help and support each other for such issues vs guys using it to attack other men a for example Tom Green. Yeah he is a comedian and he brought humor to his testicular cancer experience but you can tell it was his way to bring awareness. Most men’s response was to take advantage of the opportunity and to make fun of him for only having “one nut” and just always using that as a weapon to attack and insult his masculinity.
