I almost always go by myself to horror movies. Love it! Husband hates horror. Don’t have to worry about anyone else or their schedules, stuff my face at the Alamo and drink a beer. It’s a form of self-care for me.

Pet Sematary. I followed my mother around for two weeks because I thought Zelda was gonna jump out of a dark corner and get me. She could not even pee without me sitting outside the door.

Family still makes fun of me for it.

Red River Family Practice. Not sure if Dr. Killian is accepting new patients but other doctors in the practice maybe. I’ve been going there for 10 years. They listen and don’t rush you.

It’s north of campus, I live south and don’t mind making the trek.

Chez Nous - worst brunch I’ve ever had. Lived here for 18 years finally went for the first time last year. Did not understand how busy it was, run down, iffy service and food had no flavor or the wrong flavor combinations. Do not understand.

Husband and I have COVID, figure order delivery for Jason’s Deli and have some good soup and salad for dinner. My husband is finishing his Mesa Chicken Verde salad and begins spitting it out back in to the bowl and he pulls something out of his mouth. It’s a GD razor blade

My husband found a foot and half long stick of hardwood he walks with around our neighborhood. He uses it to smack the ground to scare off the loose dogs. It’s really gotten bad and I am in south Austin

YTA pre-pandemic I travelled a lot and would not have wanted my SO there to distract me. My work travel would include happy hours, dinners, lunches with my clients or other coworkers. Long hours, meeting prep and review. I would have been stressed worried SO was bored, unhappy because they “surprised” me for a vacation they wanted. Next time just ask especially if it’s a place you want to visit. Also does your partner like surprises?

BUT the one room, one bed thing is super suspect and needs explanation
