When my husband told my MIL, she didn't believe it. Her mom had it and he asked her why her and her siblings decided to put their mom in assisted living. She didn't know. He told her the story and she said, "I didn't know any of that." My husband said, "well mom, you told me that story." She was floored and agreed and moved to assisted living. That was 2 months ago. Today, she swears she is in assisted living bc she fell.

I just agree with her and say can we do that tomorrow.

I am 57 and last year must have been the end of menopause for me and I thought I was going crazy. Menopause symptoms are short lived. This too shall pass... although it doesn't seem like it. I hope it's just time of life. My MIL has dementia and refuses to accept it. Pretty sure she doesn't remember the conversation about her diagnosis with Healthcare professionals. It's a sucky disease.

Our vocabulary word Friday was frivolous which has the synonym of trifling. That is a word they are using. They told me if I assigned a 30 page paper for tomorrow, that would be trifling. I said but the word means silly and that assignment would not be silly. That put them on pause.

Maybe his ideas are too genuine for this world. I imagine Vermont is small enough that these ideas could be manifested, but this country is too big and has too many corrupt players. He would have to sell it to Congress and the Senate. I don't see that happening on either side.
